Katy Perry To Marry Russell Brand In Hawaii?
Katy Perry The British comedian proposed to the singer on New Year’s Eve in India following a whirlwind romance last year. There has been constant speculation about where the nuptials will take place and the latest reports suggest the couple have decided on an intimate ceremony at a private location in Maui this October.
Katy and Russell have found the interest in their impending wedding amusing and the mischievous pair have claimed they plan to tie the knot in several unusual ways – including under the sea, in a soccer-themed ceremony and at a drive-through chapel in Las Vegas.
“I hear these crazy stories,” Katy said recently. “We are going to get married in latex, underwear, in spandex, in Japan, in India, in Thailand. But I think all this craziness is really funny. And I don't set the record straight as I love this chaotic circus of wrong information."
Katy, 25, has so far refused to discuss the date of the ceremony to keep it private. Even her guests are unsure, as Katy and Russell have sent out ‘Save the week’ cards, instead of the traditional ‘Save the date’ ones.
“I hope it to be in a location.” Katy said in May. “I think it’s better to take people of out their comfort zone and mesh the groups. I think it's gonna be small because we have so much bigness going on in our lives but everybody knows I love a good party.”
