So Natalie Imbruglia has been going for ten years - something that is very rare for former soap stars - and this collection of singles shows she has come a long way from playing Beth Jordache in Neighbours.

The CD starts with "Glorious"; one of the 5 new songs and is a nice, upbeat number.  As this is a singles collection, we are getting the best of her three albums, and it is quite interesting how she has progressed - "Torn" was a great start and showed that she was serious about her music (even though it was a cover - good choice) and "Big Mistake" was Natalie in full-tilt Alanis mode, but the songs from her most recent album show that it was good sense on the public's part to stick with her - "Shiver" and "Counting Down The Days" are excellent, solid songs.

Where it gets very interesting is hearing the direction of her new songs such as "Amelia" - all this bodes very well for her next album.

So, in summary - a career of substance, a good collection of songs and a great way to be introduced to her music.
