Kylie Minogue Reportedly Not Impressed With EMI Either
Elsewhere in 'artists dissing EMI' news, rumour has it Kylie Minogue is blaming the major (though not necessarily new chief Guy Hands) for her recent album 'X' not performing quite as well as hoped.
Of course the mixed critical reception to the new long player might have played its part also. A source told the Daily Star Sunday this weekend: "It has not been the massive comeback Kylie has hoped for and the blame has to fall at someone's door. It is hoped that the flagging sales will pick up with the release of her second single, 'Wow', but if not it could be curtains for her relationship with EMI". A spokesman for EMI's Parlophone, to which Kylie is signed, told the tab: "This is not something I want to comment on at this stage".Rate this article
