A couple of Amy Winehouse related news items for you.
Firstly, John Blagrove and Cara Burton, both of Dalston, east London, have appeared at Thames' Magistrates court charged with conspiracy to supply drugs to the pop singer. The case relates to the previously reported video footage published by The Sun which seemed to show Winehouse inhaling from a crack-pipe. Not sure why they have been charged with something when the singer just got questioned and cleared by the police back in May. I suppose it's because dealing's a bigger crime.Meanwhile, The Sun claims that Winehouse's imprisoned husband Blake Fielder Civil has been writing sexually explicit letters to a fellow inmate. A female one, before you start wondering. Her name is Melissa, apparently. The tabloid quotes an extract which reads: "I've told Amy about you and read a bit of one of your letters. I don't want her to know about all the personal things I've written to you. Only a few weeks left, baby, we'll have a night on our own in a hotel somewhere, blazing and drinking and some twisted, hot, sexy things."
Fielder-Civil is, as previously reported, awaiting sentence on charges of bribery and whathaveyou.
