A museum exhibit chronicling the Boss's career will run until September in Philadelphia.

Bruce Springsteen will be honoured with an exhibit at the National Constitution Centre in Philidelphia which will open on Friday and run through to the beginning of September.

The Boss has been one of most iconic music stars to come out of the States, and his status as the man who can tell the hardship and struggle of America and indeed the world has been long standing from his early work all the way to his new album, Wrecking Ball, which is released next month.

The star’s long career will be showcased in From Asbury Park to The Promised Land will feature a host of memorabilia including a number of hand written set lists that Springsteen is known for writing before every single live show.

David Eisner, an executive at the centre, told the Wall Street Journal, “No other artist is as steeped in Americana or has better told the story of the American dream than Bruce Springsteen. He’s the perfect artist for a centre devoted to the robust discussion of American values to feature."
