Liam Gallagher: Noel is a parasite
Liam Gallagher The singer has lost respect for his former band mate for filling his set list with his new project the High Flying Birds with so many of their band's tracks.
Liam – who has so far refused to play Oasis songs with his new band Beady Eye - fumed: "I'll tell you what: he's playing 50 per cent Oasis material, which says to me that he's a complete f***ing parasite. He's a complete f***ing s**tbag."
The 'Bring the Light' rocker is also sure Noel isn't bothered that the rest of Oasis – Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock – decided to continue to make music with him when he quit the 'Supersonic' band in August 2009.
He added: "I'm sure he's not jealous, because Noel's ego is way too big for that. He's surrounded by a lot of ass-lickers who tell him he's great every f***ing minute."
The two brothers may have both indicated they may be prepared to end their feud aside to reform for the 20th anniversary of their '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' in 2015, and while Liam insists he would rather "eat s**t" than perform with Noel again but could be open to a reunion if the fans want it.
He told LA Weekly newspaper: "I'd do it for the right reasons. If the fans want to hear it, then I'd do it. I'm not doing it for the money, and that's not me being big-headed. I'd do it for the fans and I'd do it for the album, but that's basically it.
"That's not me saying I'd want to get back in a band with Noel - I'd rather eat my own s**t than be in a band with him again. He's a miserable little f**k, if you know what I mean. But if the fans want it, though, I'd do it."
