Courtney Love storms off stage in Brazil
Courtney Love Courtney Love stormed off stage in Brazil over the weekend after a fan waved a picture of her late husband and former lead singer of Nirvana, Kurt Cobain.
The Hole singer stopped her band while performing at the SWU festival in Sao Paulo on Saturday (12.11.11) and threatened a fan with some rather colourful language.
Enraged, she told the crowd: "I don't need to see a picture of Kurt asshole and I'm going to have you f*cking removed if you keep holding that up.
"I'm not Kurt, I have to live with his s**t and his ghost and his kid every day and throwing that up is stupid and rude and I'm going to beat the f**k out of you if you do it again. You weren’t f***ing married to him, I f***ing was."
While she was at it, she also managed to slam Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl, saying, "You didn’t get kicked out of a band by him, like Dave, he did. Go see the f***ing Foo Fighters and do that shit."
After walking off the stage, a member of her entourage got the audience to chant "The Foo Fighters are gay".
Courtney Love returned to the stage and before continuing with her set, she took one more swipe at Grohl, "I don’t care what you listen to at home, but if a guy takes off money off my kid’s table, f**k him."
