Muse fans can get ready for the band’s sixth studio album to fall in October 2012.

The band are said to have a host of material ready to begin recording and will be set to unleash it on the world next year around this time.

Band manager Anthony Addis told Billboard that the group are already back in the studio producing tracks that will eventually become the follow up to the massive The Resistance.

“They are planning to do it all in London,” he said. “Hopefully the album will be out in October next year. They have a lot of material already but you don’t know how it is going to get between them all. They write constantly. They write on the road. It is a serious process.”

The band wowed at the Reading Festival this year when they performed their Origins of Symmetry album in full for the last time.
