When you are as prolific as Bruce Springsteen it takes a fair amount of space to hold an archive of Boss memorabilia that contains over 15000 items, and although The Boss never went to university, his legacy is.

The Bruce Springsteen Special Collection has been housed in Asbury Park’s public library in Springsteen’s hometown in the star of New Jersey, but the sheer number of items and the continually growing collection meant that space had ran out.

Now the collection will find a new home in Monmouth University from 1st November.

Robert Santelli, who assisted in securing the treasure trove said, “There is additional space for the collection to grow at Monmouth and in future it will include recordings, film footage, oral histories and other documents.”

The massive collection of Springsteen memorabilia contains books, tour books, magazines, fanzines and newspaper articles from 44 different countries.
