My Chemical Romance The Queen legend joined the punk band on stage at the Reading festival.
It’s not often that Festival goers get to see true rock royalty performing on stage other than when they are planned to headline, so it was a massive shock for those watching My Chemical Romance performing at the Reading Festival when Gerard Way paused to introduce Brian May to join them on stage.
The Queen guitarist thrilled the crowds with the impromptu appearance as he played a number of tracks with the punk band, including a version of We Will Rock You.
My Chemical Romans were closing the first day of the three day Reading and Leeds festival, with upcoming performances still to come from rockers Muse and brit-pop act Pulp.
