Axl Rose lawsuit dismissed
Axl Rose Front Line Management was suing the 49-year-old rocker for breach of contract, claiming it had entered into an verbal agreement in 2008 to work as his manager and claim 15 per cent of commission from $12.5 million earned from performances.
However, according to RadarOnline.com dismissal documents reveal the issue – which had been to go to trial this month - has been "settled".
They read: "Counsel indicate to the Court that this matter is settled."
Last year Axl began action against his former manager Irving Azoff from Front Line Management, suing him for $5 million and claiming he was trying to "sabotage" his career.
Firing back against initial claims from Irving claiming he hadn't agreed to pay him his promised percentage, Axl said he had "abandoned Guns N' Roses on the eve of a major tour, filing suit for commissions he didn't earn and had no right to receive".
Axl also accused Irving of not properly promoting his long-awaited 2008 album 'Chinese Democracy' in an attempt to bully him to reform with the original line-up - which included guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan.
During his career, Irving has represented artists including Christina Aguilera, The Eagles and New Kids on the Block.
