The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards, has revealed he is working on a new album with his band, X-Pensive Winos.

The X-pensive Winos collective is one Richards initially assembled for his 1989 solo album 'Talk Is Cheap'.

The legendary guitarist made the announcement while appearing on American talk show, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, yesterday (May 12th).

Richards said he had already geared sessions with songwriter/producer Steve Jordan for the new album - which will be mark his first release under the X-Pensive Winos moniker since 1992 LP 'Main Offender'.

Keith said the sessions were "starting to blossom" but didn't reveal any release plan.

During the interview, Richards also hinted he was trying to get The Rolling Stones to work on new material together, stating: "I'm trying to nail them down but I don't want to crucify them."
