Noel Gallagher Rocke warns fans his Twitter page is fake.
A spokesperson for Noel Gallagher has warned fans not to be fooled by a fake Twitter.com page announcing false information about the rocker's solo plans.
A prankster created an "official" page on the microblogging site under the name NoelDGGallagher and sent followers into a frenzy after promising a single from the star in August and his debut solo album in September.
But a representative has moved swiftly to clear up swirling rumours, telling Spinnermusic.co.uk, "It's not official. None of the information on it is correct."
Gallagher walked away from Oasis in 2009 following a bust-up with his brother Liam.
