Amazing, groundbreaking, fantastic, original, charming, outstanding, incredible and great. All of the above words cannot be used to describe the horrific new release from Just Jack. ‘Glory Days’ is just so cringe-worthy. Just Jack has become a softened version of Mike Skinner (The Streets), which is simply grisly.
No, Just Jack is taking the biscuit with this one. He can’t get away with this, why on earth would anyone buy this rubbish? Every last thing about it spells out epic crap! The Instrumentation is a sham; the melody is as flat as some really battered Road Kill and as for the lyrics, don’t get me started on them. What’s wrong with them, you say? I only have to quote a bit and even that’s nauseating. What is up with “…Like Joss Stone My Heart melts like Ice Cream Cones”?? Last time I looked Joss Stone wasn’t exactly melting HB Vanilla ice cream.
A word of advice to Jack…Just Jack-it in, this shit is killing the music industry, as we know it. Go back to wherever you came out of and give us time to forget any of this ever happened. As for ‘Glory Days’, let’s just say the only think it makes use for is some good target practice, with the bin or a good game of fetch with the dog.
