Doherty's Prison Debts Called In

IOUs written by Pete Doherty to other inmates during his stay at HMP Wormwood Scrubs are now being called in, report The Daily Star.

This relates to stories of drugs reportedly given to him on credit by prison dealers, which Doherty and his management denied. However, if the tabloid is correct, then the singer racked up a fairly hefty debt and will have to pay up soon. A source from the Wormwood Scrubs exercise yard reportedly said: "Pete should definitely still be looking over his shoulder. He was terrified when he was inside - he was getting threatened all the time and [is] still not safe now. They'll even wait until they come out or send someone else".
