Scouting For Girls - Famous Review

The band are at their best. Scouting For Girls
The band are at their best.

What I really disliked about Scouting For Girls previous album was that all songs had their trademark piano, toe tapping beat running through them. There was a lack of originality to a certain degree. However, the tables have turned and they've stepped up game.

Their first single off their new album, Everybody Wants to be on TV, was This Aint a Love Song and now they've released Famous. It's still got the piano but it's not so similar that I feel like I've got the same song on repeat. Famous is ridden with light-hearted, pop-hooks, tongue-in-cheek lyrics and an undeniably addictive chorus. It's a track which changed my mind about this band, they've released an album which could make them the band of the summer.
