Britney Spears Becomes Twitter Queen

Britney Spears So it has happened, Britney Spears has overtaken Ashton Kutcher to become the most followed user on Twitter.
As previously reported, Britney - who is still head-to-head with the actor in the race to hit 5 million followers - has taken first place with 4,946,952 followers and is thought to hit the 5 million mark any day now.
Kutcher who was the reigning Twitter king fell to second place as expected, with 4,942,394 followers.
Britney's follower count has been growing at a much faster rate - having added 159,891 over the last month alone.
However, Queen Britney better not get too big for her boots as Lady Gaga is set to steal the pop princess’crown. The emerging star currently has 4,148,127 Twitter followers having added an incredible 1.5 million followers in the last 4 months.
Watch out Britney, the Gaga army is coming!
