Lana Del Rey tops album chart with Born To Die
Lana Del Rey Lana Del Rey's Born To Die has become 2012's fastest selling album so far.
The new record sold over 117,000 copies in its first week and had 50,000 digital album sales.
Title track Born To Die debuted at number 14 in the singles chart last week and rises to ninth with debut single Video Games still in the top 20.
In second spot, 77-year-old Leonard Cohen returns with Old Ideas, his first album since 2004's Dear Heather.
Last week's top album, Ed Sheeran's +, drops to third while two of last year's biggest albums, Adele's 21 and Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto, are in fourth and fifth.
Louis Armstrong's Best Of Album debuts at 30, while indie band Django Django's self-titled debut album enters the chart at 33.
2 Bears also enter this week's chart with their debut electronic album Be Strong at 35.
