Girls Alouds' Sarah Harding Is Ready To Go Solo
Sarah Harding The singer found fame with British band Girls Aloud, but has spent time pursing an acting career while the group has been on hiatus. She has now announced she is about to start work on her own music, but is adamant it won’t be like the song she sings with her bandmates.
“I'm so excited about going into the studio. I haven't completely settled on what kind of music I'm going to make yet, but I would love it to be something like Lady GaGa,” she explained. "She is the new Madonna as far as I'm concerned.”
Sarah watched Gaga perform at London’s O2 Arena recently, and was blown away. She couldn’t believe the stage show the outrageous singer put on, and it inspired her to step back into the studio.
The 28-year-old is looking forward to planning her new tracks, revealing she can’t wait to do exactly what she wants. She loves singing with her bandmates Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts ad Nadine Coyle, but admits compromising with them can be frustrating.
“I want to step away from cheesy pop,” Sarah explained. “It’s important for me to try to establish my own identity.”
