Marcus Collins working with Gary Barlow on new album
Gary Barlow X Factor runner up Marcus Collins may have a while to wait before he can release any music, but the singer has been teasing at just what is on the way from him, including the fact that he has been working with Gary Barlow on his material.
Marcus was mentored by the Take That star and was just pipped to the post by Little Mix, who became the first group in the show’s history to win the competition.
According to Marcus, he has already got seven songs written for what will be his debut album, and he is excited to be working with the man who helped him to the runner up spot on the show.
“I’m really excited,” he said. “I’m working really hard. The music is coming together. I’ve found my niche. I fell like I’ve got a bit of freedom to concentrate and focus on what it is that I want to bring out.”
He went to confirm Barlow’s involvement in the background on the album.
Marcus will soon be seen with the other X Factor contestants on the nationwide X Factor tour.
