The outrageous singer – real name Stefani Joanne Germanotta - is convinced 17-year-old Natali Germanotta could make millions with the right backing, and has already organised for her to have lessons with a top vocal coach in New York. She is training as a backing singer and is still at school, with Gaga’s parents desperate for her to complete her education before she tries to make it in the music business.
“Natali idolises her sister so of course she wants to follow in her footsteps,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “She’s spending a lot of time with her and sitting in on recordings. She’s got the bug. She’s also taken to a playlist of Gaga’s favourite tunes and is tapping into her influences to fit in with her vocal style.”
There are rumours Natali might perform alongside Gaga in North America later this year, when she is on holiday from school.
Gaga is famed for her flamboyant dress sense, which has seen her wear a coat made of Kermit the frogs, a lobster hat and regularly leaving the house in her underwear. Yesterday, she was spotted in Sydney, Australia, sporting Coke cans in her hair which were acting as giant curlers.
