The singer made it clear to gossip columnists she is happy the way she is.

For all those who enjoyed having a pop at “fat” Christina Aguilera, the singer has spoken out to make sure that they know she doesn’t care what anyone says as long as she is happy.

The star has been in the gossip columns for a number of years now, many of them having a dig at the curvier figure, but talking at the press launch of the new US series of The Voice, the singer responded to the comments.

“I’ve been in the business a long time,” she said. “You can never be too perfect, too thin, too curvy, voluptuous, this that. As long as I’m happy in my own skin, that’s all I need. I’m happy with where I’m at. I have a boyfriend who loves my body and I love my body. My son is happy and healthy and that’s all that matters.”

So, that’s you lot told out there. Pay attention.
