Former White Stripes frontman Jack White is about to give Tom Jones a career boost by producing the Welsh legend’s new single.
The strange collaboration has seen the pair join forces on the song Jezebel, which was first released on Tom’s Mr Jones album in 2002. White produced the track and also performs with Tom on the B-side of the single on a version of Howlin Wolf’s Evil (Is Going On).
This is not the first time White has added his touch to the older generation’s work after producing Loretta Lynn’s 2004 Van Lear Rose, and lauching the comeback of Wanda Jacksons comeback in 2011.
