The 'Nothing's Real But Love' singer said prior to recording her debut album, 'Heaven', she wasn't interested in any of the songs on the radio, and all the tracks she writes are based on her own personal experiences.

She told BANG Showbiz: "I actually wasn't listening to any music until I was literally in the studio recording. I was completely out of what was going on in the charts. I was just completely focused on me own music."

'Heaven' was co-written with producer Eg White, best known for his work with acts including Adele, Duffy, Will Young and James Morrison, and Rebecca admits some of the songs are inspired by her failed relationships.

Rebecca added: "The album is just about life, really. It's about what I've been through in the past, the people around me, my best friends and relationships. It was just about how people, including myself, get caught up in things that shouldn't be important."

'Heaven' is out now, and Rebecca begins her UK tour on February 20 in Manchester.
