Michael Buble's Christmas album returns to number one
Michael Buble Michael Buble has topped the album chart with his collection of festive covers.
According to the Official Charts Company, 'Christmas' sold over 269,000 copies in the last seven days, the biggest weekly album sales figures of the year.
The album topped the chart back in November and has remained in the top five since its October release.
'Christmas' is Buble's sixth top ten album, including last year's eight-times platinum Crazy Love. The singer has now sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
Meanwhile, last week's top album, Amy Winehouse's Lioness - Hidden Treasures, drops to second spot in this week's chart, while Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto climbs from eight to three.
Olly Murs remains in fourth spot, with Rihanna's Talk That Talk at five, followed by Adele's 21 at six. Rebecca Ferguson, Ed Sheeran, Westlife and One Direction complete the top ten.
Album sales really gathered pace this week, with the top six all selling over 100,000 copies with Christmas Day just one week away.
