If someone asked you to guess the reason why Culture Club have reformed, I’m sure Simon and Garfunkel wouldn’t be top of your list

Boy George revealed that the band are currently in rehearsals for their New Year’s Eve gig in Australia, and also have a new album on the cards for 2012.

When asked about their reunion, the flamboyant singer said, “No one is forcing is to do it, we’re doing it of our own choice. I saw this great documentary about Simon and Garfunkel which inspired me. It made me think about what I was doing, more it made me think that I really wanted to write something beautiful. “

The singer also revealed that while he has been tempted to take part in some reality shows, he has always decided against it in the end.

“I think it’s best not to do it. It takes away some of the mystery and I’m not eating rodent’s balls for anyone.”
