Rebecca Ferguson's pre-orders beat Matt Cardle and One Direction

Rebecca Ferguson The singer has become the most successful of all the acts on last year's X Factor.
Once again the time honoured tradition of X Factor runners up being more successful that the contestant who beat them.
Rebecca Ferguson’s album presales have made her the most successful act from last year’s show, with he orders beating Cher Lloyd, One Direction and winner Matt Cardle.
Not only that, but the sales figures make it all the more impressive when compared to the trio, with Fergusson beating Lloyd’s Sticks and Stones by a massive 571%, One Direction’s Up All Night by 11% and Cardle’s Letters by a whopping 181%.
This puts her in the same stead as JLS and Olly Murs who have previously gone on to have bigger careers than their series’ winners.
