Olly Murs topped the UK albums chart with his second studio album, In Case You Didn't Know.

Over 148,000 copies of the album have been sold in its first week on release, a year after the 2009 X Factor finalist's first record.

Murs' first self-titled album peaked at number two last year, held off the top by Take That's Progress album.

Michael Buble is in second spot with his Christmas album and last week's number one, Talk That Talk by Rihanna, is down to third.

One Direction's debut album slips from two to four while Adele's 21 climbs from ninth to fifth spot, an incredible 45 weeks after its release.

The second highest new entry is Il Divo's Wicked Game at number six, the group's fifth top ten album.

Other new entries include Take That's Progress Live at 12, Joe McElderry's Classic Christmas at 15 and N-Dubz Greatest Hits at 38.

Olly Murs is now the tenth X Factor contestant to have a number one album, with Diana Vickers, G4, Steve Brookstein, Journey South, Shayne Ward, Ray Quinn, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke and JLS also having number one albums.
