Britney Spears’ Boyfriend "Hates" Her Music
Although the pair get on well, Jason is apparently not a fan of his partner’s electro-pop music.
He attended Paris Hilton’s birthday party, which was held at her home, over the weekend, and was horrified when Britney’s hit Toxic began blaring from speakers. “Jason arrived with a male friend, but was definitely enjoying himself until DJ Mr. Best, threw on Britney Spears' song Toxic,” a source told FOXNews.com
“When the song came on the first thing out of Jason’s mouth was, ‘OMG I hate this song!’ His friends all laughed and continued to talk, but he interrupted them by saying, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t hear what you’re saying over her voice.’ He wasn’t laughing.”
Jason stayed at the bash all evening, eventually leaving with friends at around 3am.
Meanwhile, pop star Ke$ha has lashed out at Britney for not singing live at her shows. She insists singers should never mime as it is disrespectful to their fans, claiming she would rather sound bad when trying to sing and dance at the same time than lip sync.
“I don’t think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show. I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance,” she said. “No offense to her specifically but people have asked me before to mime. I refuse. It’s treating people as if they are too stupid to realise you are not actually singing.”
