Courtney Love Calls Lily Allen A Brat
Courtney Love The two singers have been engaged in a feud after arguing at the recent NME Awards. Courtney accused Lily of fixing it so that no-one else could wear a Chanel gown to the earlier BRIT Awards, a claim Lily, who models for the fashion house, denied. The two women exchanged bitter words, resulting in Lily walking out and Courtney writing unflattering comments about her on Twitter.
Lily retaliated using the social networking site last week, and then the row seemed to die down. However, the 24-year-old reignited it yesterday by posting an unflattering picture of Courtney on Twitter.
The move left Courtney, 45, incensed, and she immediately hit back. “oh @lilyroseallen tweeted that pic? thats just baby brat nonsense we are NOT having a ‘FUED’ WOULDNT DEIGN TO post a pic of her thighs,” she wrote. “but im not the one on gak every night dear, you are, and im not the one who uses the word ‘relevant’ to reassure meselfALWAYS @lilyroseallen your really a brat, is there anyone who you havent started a meaningless strop with? the night you did all the blow on earth the night you home invaded me did all the blow ive ever seen in my home wouldnt leave and blamed ME for yr shit show?thighs?
"But then again i dont pick fights with insanely deluded irrevelant friendless unatractive children who noone i know even close to likes (sic)."
The singer went on to insist she was “over” their argument until she saw what Lily had done. Courtney believes Lily is “jealous” of her success, adding she doesn’t care if a bad picture of her surfaces as she is a singer, not a model.
“whata sad baby, retire already so you can stop picking fights with everyone for no reason, ps tip, nme awards not venue to dress filmstar (sic),” she wrote.
Courtney then decided to rise about it all, admitting she had let her anger get the better of her. She asked her fans to “send a prayer” to Lily, before vowing never to respond to her again.
Lily kept her reply short and sweet, opting to take the high ground. Shortly after posting the image of Courtney, she wrote: “sorry, that was mean. enuff of these juvenile musings , i should never have risen to the bait. silly lily (sic).”
