Lily Allen Will Release Another Album
The British star has revealed she plans to make a third LP in the future, but is keen to focus her energies on other projects for now. Lily is set to open a vintage clothes shop with her sister Sarah Owen, do some charity work and track down unsigned music artists during her hiatus from her singing career.
"I'm setting up a record label and a music charity and website and I'm also doing a vintage clothes shop with my sister, it's amazing stuff that would be really expensive but we're renting it [out] for a fraction of the price, so girls can come and get dressed up for a night out and have a laugh!" Lily told NME.com. "I'm not making another album for a bit, maybe in five years.”
Lily says she is currently working full-time on opening her boutique called Lucy in Disguise. She can’t wait for the store to open and is enjoying her foray into the retail industry. "I'm in the office every day, sourcing clothes and getting really excited about my new venture," she explained to Sky News.
The 24-year-old star also announced she is helping designer Wayne Hemingway launch a fashion and music festival called Vintage in the UK this August. The event will celebrate how the two industries influenced each other from the 1940s to the 1980s.
