Courtney Love Is Keen To Mentor Ke$ha
Courtney Love The singer was recently introduced to the music newcomer, and was taken with how much Ke$ha reminded her of her younger self. However, Courtney is concerned Ke$ha doesn’t care about the industry and just wants to be famous. She is also worried the star’s record label is using her, and she wants to help her break free and do whatever makes her happy.
The 45-year-old decided to reach out to Ke$ha via the internet, using her Twitter blog to discuss her fears. In a series of misspelt and confusing posts, Courtney tried to explain why she is worried about the young singer.
“@Keshasuxx i am trying to figure out if your a product of DR Luke or a real thing, i know you tried Country . Rock, ALt, etc, explain please. @Keshasuxx not slamming you, yr tall and pretty very tall and very pretty and i dont know what your here for. Fame itself? do you LIKE music (sic)cst not the marketing not the "

,” Courtney wrote.
“we all know and if we dont how important it is to Mentor people who are younger and less experienced than us, or just ignorant, @Keshasuxx . i was merely attempting to help you see a different side of music where the music comes 1st not the marketing not the lets try COUNTRY NOW bs (sic)?”
Courtney went on to suggest a series of female musician Ke$ha should listen to in order to widen her knowledge of the industry. Courtney claims songs by PJ Harvey and Kate Bush will help Ke$ha become a better singer, and her taking the time to play them will show she is really interested in music.
The older singer was criticised by many for her comments, with some claiming she was picking on Ke$ha. Courtney defended her actions, insisting she was trying to help as she doesn’t want the young star to have the same problems in her life she has had.
“im not slagging her she just wanted to be ‘Famous’ and did what she was told to do. frm what i understand she didnt write anything, when i was young young i just simply wantd to be ‘famous’ my wish came sort of true, i served 0 purpose and was a miserable **** in pain,” she wrote. “i just feel shes someone tall and striking in a room like me most ly were shorties ya know the chicks, an we could be pals, @Keshasuxx i really think i could mentor @Keshasuxx given a week and id be willing to do it (sic).”
