Lady Gaga To Work With Britney Spears
The flamboyant singer took her dad Joseph to the prestigious ceremony last month, where she won Best Dance Recording for Just Dance and Best Electronic/Dance Album for The Fame. She left Joseph alone while she went to freshen up, and was amazed when she returned to find him happily chatting to Britney.
“Gaga has made no secret of just how much of a Britney fan she is. She has even admitted she used to have posters of her on her wall and she was a great source of inspiration when she was a struggling songwriter,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “She was delighted when she found her dad chatting away to Britney at the party. He introduced them and the three of them were locked in conversation for ages.”
Joseph apparently charmed Britney, who told Gaga she is a huge fan of her music and style. The women got on famously, and decided to collaborate on a project in the coming months.
“At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as Gaga finishes her Fame Monster tour,” the source explained.
Gaga performed a piano duet with Sir Elton John at the prestigious music ceremony, with the pair singing a blend of her track Speechless and his Your Song. She has also collaborated with Beyonce Knowles and the Pet Shop Boys.
