Lady Gaga’s Born This Way has been given a heavy metal remix by fans following the star’s declaration of love for the genre.

Gaga constantly hoped that her release would serve as a “rock crossover”.

Fans have commented on the number of rock influences throughout her Born This Way album. From the thundering drums on Unicorn Highway, Brian May’s guitar on You and I, the chugger guitar riffs on Electric Chapel as well as the presence of the late, great Clarence Clemons on a number of tracks.

Keeping in line with Gaga’s comment that her song Judas was inspired by an ex who liked Judas Priest, fans have created an unofficial heavy metal remix of Born This Way, stating it to be “How Lady Gaga’s Born This Way would have sounded if Judas Priest had written it with her.”

Gaga previously released a country version of the song herself, which she included on the deluxe edition of her album, and I’m sure she will take the new fan made version into her heart – especially when unlike many fan made remixes it is actually good.
