Backstreet Boys' Howie Dorough is urging more guys to come to see the band on their NKOTBSB tour.

The group are on the road with fellow boy band New Kids on the Block in the US and are surprised how few men come to see them, especially as there are so many eligible girls in the crowd.

He said: "I say for any single guys in town, they should definitely come to this, as the ratio of guys to girls is really good!"

Howie - whose group formed in 1993, nine years after New Kids on the Block first started out - also told how the screaming females his tour mates attracted were one of the reasons he wanted to be in a boy band in the first place.

He added: "We looked at them as like the first Boyband that came out , they definitely had the whole singing and dancing thing down, and a bunch of screaming girls, what guy wouldn't want to be in a group like that?"

The NKOTBSB tour is currently performing across the US and Canada, but Howie added they are hoping to bring it to Europe next year.
