Britney Spears Had A "100-Person Entourage" At The Grammy Awards
The singer was nominated for Best Dance Recording for the dance remix of her 2008 hit Womanizer. The 28-year-old star was thrilled to be up for the award, and brought an army of stylists, make-up artists, assistants and friends to the Staples Center in Los Angeles to ensure she looked perfect if she won.
Celebrity reporter Ryan Seacrest broadcast a special E! bulletin from backstage at the event, and was shocked to see Britney and her enormous group of followers stream past.
“Britney just ran by with an entourage of 100,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
As well as filming live television segments during the awards, Ryan also kept his fans updated on Twitter. Throughout the evening, he posted a series of messages about what was happening backstage.
One read: “At grammys, beyonce just got a standing o...looked amazing. I was on my way in from outside while they were loading in her swat dancers.”
