Cheryl Cole Nadine Coyle is to get head-to-head with Cheryl Cole in a 2010 chart battle, according to reports.
The Girls Aloud pair look set to square-up after the Irish singer set to work on her debut album.
She is understood to be recording with former Robbie Williams collaborator Guy Chambers, who penned "Angels", on the project.
"He's incredibly selective about who he agrees to collaborate with and, to be frank, he's the most expensive in the business to hire.
"He has seen something in Nadine he really admires", said a source of their hook-up, which is expected to come out some time in the New Year on Polydor.
