Michael Jackson's Wembley Tribute Off?

By MusicRooms on 22/12/2009
The Michael Jackson tribute concert has been cancelled, according to reports.

Brother Jermaine announced news of the show earlier this year, following the singer's shock passing in June.

However, plans for it to take place at Vienna's Schönbrunn castle in September were shelved when the line-up disintegrated.

Jackson then suggested it would take place at Wembley Stadium in June, with a star-studded bill.

However, the company who were behind the gig - World Awards Media - are now understood to have gone into liquidation.

It is unclear if Jermaine Jackson intends to proceed with new promoters.
