Leona Lewis Back On Stage After Attack
Leona Lewis The 24-year-old thanked fans for their support at the homecoming gig in London.
Lewis, who won the television talent show The X Factor in 2006, returned to the stage of the Hackney Empire where she first performed as a teenager.
Lewis told the crowd: "I just want to say thank you so much for coming to support me.
"The first time I ever performed here I was 13 so it seemed fitting for me to come back here."
Last month Lewis was left shaken after being punched in the head while signing copies of her new book at Waterstones in central London.
For her concert, the singer appeared on stage in a black cape and hood, and giant images of her were projected onto a see-through screen at the front of the stage.
She was surrounded by half naked dancers.
Later, she changed into a purple mini dress and leggings to sing her hit single Bleeding Love.
She told the cheering fans: "Thank you so much for supporting that song. That song has allowed me to travel and do so much. Thank you."
