The founding members of Sugababes are meeting today to discuss reforming and releasing a new album, according to reports.

Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy are apparently in discussions with record company Warner and have also been offered three separate solo deals.

According to Holy Moly the three singers are apparently in a second meeting with a potential producer today, rumoured to be William Orbit or Stuart Price, with the label reportedly eager for the original Sugababes trio to record new music.

The original line-up had their first chart hit with single Overload in September 2000, later releasing debut album One Touch.

Donaghy quit the group a year later, with Buena leaving in December 2005. They were respectively replaced by Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah.

Buchanan was the sole remaining original member until her shock departure in September, when was replaced by former Eurovision contestant Jade Ewen.

The current Sugababes have since stayed in headlines for the wrong reasons, with a performance at the Scottish Variety Show cancelled.

They have also postponed the release of their upcoming new album Sweet 7. The record, which was originally due out on November 23, has now been delayed until February 22 next year.

The group were forced to pull out of promotion for the album after Amelle Berrabah was diagnosed with nervous exhaustion.
