Kimberley Walsh has Glee hope
Kimberley Walsh The 28-year-old singer is a member of the British girl group alongside Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding. Kimberley is a huge fan of the hit US TV show about a group of singing high school misfits and particularly enjoys the programme’s tribute episodes, where the cast of the show sings songs from an artist’s career.
Britney Spears recently shot scenes for the programme and Kimberley thinks Girls Aloud should get their own one.
“That would be amazing,” Kimberley gushed. “They should do that. You could completely turn our songs in a theatrical direction if you wanted. It would be amazing!”
Kimberley admits she didn’t think she would like Glee when it first came out. She only started watching it a few months ago, and is now completely obsessed.
“I started watching thinking maybe it would be too cheesy for me but that’s the beauty of it – it’s total escapism,” she told the British edition of OK! magazine.
