Glee's Mark Salling to launch solo album

Mark Sailing Glee star Mark Salling is set to release his debut solo album.
The performer shared the news with fans, Twittering, "Wanted to tell u all myself, my solo record PIPE DREAMS drops 10/12! So grateful for all your support."
The 27-year-old, who plays jock Puck on the hit show, will write, perform, and produce each track on the record to be launched later this year.
The disc will showcase classic rock, alternative music and a 60s folk-beat sound, Us magazine reports.
The first single to be released, Lone Ranger, is said to be 'a musical anthem to the disenfranchised soul in all of us,' according to a media release.
