Tulisa Contostavlos thinks she is the most hated woman in Britain.
The X Factor judge is constantly flooded with abusive messages from cyber bullies on twitter but tries not to let their negativity get to her.
The 24-year-old former N-Dubz singer told the Mirror newspaper: “People just do it for the sake of it – they will sit down and write the most horrific, abusive messages and they couldn’t care less.
“Sometimes they are 12-year-old kids sending these things. I’ve seen grown women read the messages and it brings tears to their eyes.
“I’ve had people tell me this has happened to them but it’s something you have got to let go over your head.
“If I was to base my opinion on Twitter I’d be like, ‘Oh my god, I must be the most hated woman in Britain’.
“But I go around the street and despite all the abusive messages not one person comes up to me and says anything other than nice things and ask for a picture.”
Meanwhile, Tulisa is expecting to have “spats” with her fellow X Factor judges this year.
The singer is mentoring the Girls category this year and she will not “hold back” when it comes to defending her acts, even though she can’t imagine having a fight with Nicole Scherzinger.
She said: “I can’t imagine how anyone could fall out with Nicole – she’s not that kind of person.
“But then, Kelly and I were fine at this point last year. There are going to be spats. I’m going to defend my acts, I won’t hold back.”
