It has been confirmed – supergroup Sound City Players announce their first UK gig.

The band – formed following Grohl’s film documentary about the legendary Sound City studios in California – will headline London’s Forum on February 19.

Grohl has teamed up with Stevie Nicks, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear for the Sound City Players.

Others who featured in the documentary include Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel and Chris Shiflett, Alain Johannes, Chris Goss, Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk, Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen and Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty.

However, it is not yet known which artists will form Sound City Players for their London gig.
