Brit Awards wrong to be righted at this year’s ceremony for Adele
Brit Award bosses have pledged to make it up to Adele at this year’s bash after cutting her off mid speech at last year’s bash.
Last year’s BRIT Award fiasco concerning the R & B sensation is to hopefully be righted at this year’s shindig this Wednesday evening.
Viewers will recall the singer’s one fingered salute to the show’s host James Corden, as she was cut off midway through her award acceptance speech at last year’s bash, due to the show overrunning.
David Joseph who is the BRIT Award’s Chairperson, commented: “How can you take an artist who has made the biggest cultural impact musically this country has seen globally for some time and cut her off in the middle of her speech? I very much to this day question what was happening in that control booth. I can hint something is going to happen this year to rewrite that wrong.
He added that Adele’s reaction was ‘totally justified’ and asked viewers to tune in this year to see whether the wrong will be corrected.
North Londoner Adele is nominated for ‘Skyfall’ in this year’s best British Single category, the hit was the theme song for the smash hit Bond film of the same name.
The ceremony takes place at the O2 in London this coming Wednesday evening.
Let’s hope Adele is in a forgiving mood.
