Adele queen of iTunes 2012
Adele does it again; she has scored a chart double after her record 21 was named the best-selling album on iTunes for a second year running.
The 24-year-old was crowned the queen of iTunes last year when 21 was named the highest-selling record of 2011 by iTunes staff and bosses.
She has now repeated the feat for 2012. The album, which was released in January, 2011, has been named the year’s best-selling record ahead of Taylor Swift’s latest release Red, which hit charts in October.
North Londoner Adele was also named top female artist, with hip hop star Drake named top male artist.
