Nicolas Cage to star in vigilante thriller.
Nicolas Cage is rumoured to have signed up to play a widower-turned-vigilante in a new film.
The Hollywood star has been linked to the lead role in action thriller I Am Wrath, reports Deadline.
The plot sees Nicolas play Stanley, a man seeking justice after his wife is murdered. He decides to take matters into his own hands after discovering a web of police corruption.
There is no other stars linked to the movie yet, but it has been reported that The Exorcist filmmaker William Friedkin looks set to direct.
Production is scheduled to get under way in February next year.
