Beyonce drops out of Eastwood’s A Star Is Born
Beyonce has pulled out of Clint Eastwood’s remake of A Star Is Born.
The singer cites “scheduling conflicts” as her reason for backing out but several online sources are claiming that it may be down to the director’s political views.
Beyonce’s statement reads: “I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood.
“For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together.”
The R&B star was set to be playing a young singer who falls in love with an older musician mentor in a new version of the beloved tale.
