Emma Watson The Harry Potter star is in talks with director Guillermo del Toro to take the lead in Beast.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson is rumoured to be starring in a new Beauty and the Beast film.
The British actress is on the verge of signing to a new version of the Disney classic, in the lead of Belle.
According to Variety magazine, Watson has been in talks with director Guillermo del Toro to take on the role since last year after being described is perfect for the role.
The film is thought to be just entitled Beast and is currently pending to release sometime in 2014. There is no word yet on who will be cast as the Beast or whether this will include a classical costume role or CGI.
