The pair will star together for the first time in over twenty-five years.

Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger are to appear on screen together for the first time since their steamy movie 9 ½ Weeks in a new political thriller.

The actors did briefly reunite in the 2008 film The Informers, but they did not have any screen time together, only meeting on the red carpet for the premiere of the film.

So twenty six years after last actually sharing the screen, long before Rourke’s almost career killing plastic surgery, they will be back on screen together in legal thriller Black November, which will see Rourke playing an oil company boss whose firm is responsible for the destruction of a number of Nigerian villages.

The film also stars Anne Heche and is set to be released later in the year.
